Christmas Activity Advent Calendar
This fun calendar will remind the family of activities to do
during the holiday season, and will help bring the family
together.

What you will need:
1. 2 sheets white 8 ½ x 11 cardstock
2. Computer and printer or black pen
3. 1 sheet of red cardstock
4. 1 sheet of green cardstock
5. Paper cutter
6. Stapler
7. Red pen
8. Holiday stickers
9. Two green eyelets
10. Eyelet setter
11. Red ribbon
12. Glue
13. Scissors
14. White ink pad
15. Number stamps
Directions:
1. Begin by printing the words
"Countdown to Christmas" along the top of a white piece of
cardstock either by using a computer and printer, or a black
pen.
2. Cut out 13 red and 13 green 1
inch tags.
3. Cut out 25 white 1 inch tags
4. Use the stapler to staple one
white tag to each red and green tag. Make sure the staple is at
the top of the tag.
5. Use the number stamps and white
ink pad to put the numbers 1 through 25 on the tags.
6. Turn the white paper with the
"Countdown to Christmas" on it sideways, so that the long side
is at the top.
7. Glue the tags to the paper in
five rows of five. Make sure the numbers are right.
8. Use the red pen and holiday
stickers to write the activities on the white tags and decorate
the tags. Use activities like:

Bake your family's favorite
holiday treats.

Volunteer at a local soup
kitchen.

Read the Night Before
Christmas.

Snuggle up with a blanket and
hot chocolate.

Make gingerbread houses.

Drive around the neighborhood
and look at Christmas lights.

Go Christmas Caroling.

Read the biblical account of
the birth of Christ.

Write a wish list to Santa.

Go visit Santa at the mall.
-
Get out the popcorn and watch
a Christmas movie.

Take pictures of everyone.
-
Make ornaments.
-
Learn about a Christmas
tradition from another country.

Send out Christmas cards.
-
Wrap presents.
-
Make paper snowflakes.

Call family.
-
Go ice skating.
9. Use the eyelet setter to insert
on eyelet in each of the top corners of the calendar.
10. Pull the ends of the red
ribbon through the eyelets and tie a knot in the back so that
the ribbon will stay.
