Handmade Christmas Party Invitation

Create your own stunning party invitations and set the style statement for your holiday party right from the time the guests receive the invites.

Handmade Christmas Party Invitation

 

Materials Needed:

  • White cardstock, scored and folded
  • Christmas checks patterned scrapbooking paper
  • Red cardstock
  • Green scrapbooking photo matting frame or a green rectangle cutout
  • Christmas themed ribbon
  • Green eyelet
  • 'Party' diecut in red color
  • You're invited stamp
  • White stamping ink pad

Instructions:

1. Glue patterned paper on the white cardstock.

2. Make a pocket by gluing the edges of the solid red cardstock as shown.

3. Glue layered rectangles of patterned paper and red cardstock as shown and stamp 'You're Invited' using white ink. Stamp any other party phrase or information below. The main information will go inside.

4. Ink the edges of the party diecut with white ink and glue it to the green paper frame.

5. Punch a hole and set an eyelet on the top of the frame.

6. Insert ribbon through the eyelet and leave one side long enough to inside the card and run all through the length of it.
