Christmas Crafts/ Santa & Snowmen

FROSTY, THE SNOWMAN

Materials:

8-inch Styrofoam disc
4-inch and 5-inch Styrofoam ball
2 styrofoam eggs
Small top hat (available in craft stores)
1 yard of holiday ribbon
10 small black buttons
6 black and 2 red mini pompoms
8-inch mini broom
4 pine sticks and 2 Christmas picks
glue gun
Scissors
Wire Cutters
4 craft sticks
Knife

Instructions:

Connect the styrofoam balls together using a craft stick and glue. Connect the balls to the disc in the same way.

Cut the narrow ends off both eggs and roll on a table to flatten to make arms. Insert half of a craft stick into one egg and attach it to the large Styrofoam ball. Glue to secure. Repeat with other egg.

Glue black pompoms down the body of the snowman. Glue hat to head and a red pompom on each side of head for earmuffs. Glue on bottoms to make the eyes, nose and mouth.

Insert pine and Christmas picks around bottom disc. Insert broom through one hand.

Use ribbon to make a bow on the broom. Use the rest to decorate the Styrofoam base.
