Hanging Christmas Tree
Materials:
- 3 Bigger pieces of Christmas fabric (green felt)
- 1 smaller piece of fabric for tree trunk (brown/black)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Batting
- 2 small bows
- Cord/string for hanging up the tree
- Some small Christmas decorations (optional)
Procedure
- Cut 3 squares of Christmas fabric:
first: 2 ¼ inch
second: 2 ½ inch
third: 2 2/4 inch
- Fold each square into a triangle.
- Place a small amount of batting in the middle of triangle to
give each section a little fullness.
- Glue two sides of triangle together (like an apple turnover)
- Glue the tip of the middle triangle behind the smallest one.
- Glue the tip of the largest one behind the middle one.
- Cut a small piece of different color fabric (about 1 inch
square).
- Make a small tube and glue together.
- Glue to the bottom of the tree for trunk.
- Embellish the tree with a small bow at the top and bottom.
- Pull through a cord so the tree may be hung up.
- Of course you can decorate your little tree more with
sequins, ribbons, tinsel, etc… or pin Christmas cards onto it
and use it as a Christmas card holder.
