Walnut Cookies

Ingredients:

1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
3 eggs
3-1/2 c flour
1 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 c buttermilk
1 c chopped walnuts

Makes: About 6 Dozen

Method:

1. Cream sugars, shortening, and eggs.

2. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk. Fold in chopped nuts.

3. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
